Vita Salute San Raffaele University Expansion
Complete internal renovation was undertaken on four buildings in the Milan 2 Business Centre in order to make way for the construction of university classrooms, study areas and offices as part of the expansion of the Vita Salute San Raffaele University.
Renovation and Innovation
The renovation covers an area of about 18,000 square meters and consists of the demolition of existing and structures to bring them in line with the current standards in force for finishes and electrical and mechanical systems. Special attention was also paid to fire safety aspects with the inclusion of a new external emergency staircase and new smoke detection and EVAC systems.
Intelligent Design
Each classroom has been equipped with the latest audio-video equipment as well as the highest levels of microclimatic comfort thanks to an intelligent redesign which replaced both the floor HVAC systems and the existing Air Handling Units. Work started at the end of April 2022 and to be completed by September 15, 2022; and the total amount planned for the execution of the works is approximately €14.0 million.
